Samana Healing - A Therapeutic Journey of Integration & Healing

In Sanskrit, "Samana" speaks to the profound balance between mind and body - a state where healing and wholeness naturally emerge. This space creates a nurturing sanctuary where this integration can gently unfold, guided by trauma-informed yoga therapy and compassionate self-discovery.

Core Philosophy

Within each of us lies an innate wisdom and capacity for healing. Samana Healing honors this wisdom by offering gentle pathways to reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and cultivate resilience. In this supportive community, you'll discover tools for embodied awareness while honoring your unique journey toward integration and well-being.

What to Expect

Each session flows between mindful movement and reflective practice, creating a balanced experience that supports deep healing:

  • Therapeutic Yoga Practice (45 minutes): Gentle, adaptive movement and breathwork designed to foster body awareness and nervous system regulation. All poses are offered with modifications to honor your body's needs.
  • Integration & Reflection (45 minutes): Through guided journaling and compassionate inquiry, we explore themes of embodiment, self-trust, and emotional awareness. This space allows insights to emerge and settle in a supported way.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable Clothing: Wear clothes that allow for gentle movement and help you feel relaxed.
  • A Light Sweater or Sweatshirt and Socks: For the reflection portion of class, you may want something cozy to keep warm.
  • Yoga Mat: Bring your own mat for the yoga practice.
  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the class.

Bonus: Each participant will receive a free journal to use during the inquiry portion of class and beyond, as a tool for self-reflection and growth.
